Some places to keep abreast of what others are doing to keep the pot stirred.
ColorofChange.org is doing a bang-up job of driving cash away from the Glenn Beck show with their boycott initiative. Join them! A similar backlash against CNN's Lou Dobbs is warming up.
I filed a compaint with the FCC against the Glenn Beck show, not specific to the content ( I support 1st Amendment even for fools, ) but over the fact that his show and others on Fox are aired with the Fox News logo which I claimed, lends a certain credibility as "news" and that, under the FCC rules for news broadcasts, they are violating with regards to bias and distortion. I asked that Fox be required to remove the "news" logo and add a disclaimer that the show is entertainment only. I did receive a response from the FCC stating that I should have received Fox New's reply...I have not.
I will post their response if/when I ever receive one. I will follow up with the FCC if they fail to reply soon. Anyone can file a complaint and I urge everyone to do so who believes Fox, CNN or any "news" program is engaging in bias and distortion of the news. http://www.fcc.gov
