Today I faxed this letter to my Senators. Bill Nelson (D-FL) and Mel Martinez (R-FL). I guess you might say they cancel each other out so I really don't have a Senator these days. Consider writing your Senators

CONGRESS AND BANKS SELLING OUT AMERICANS AGAIN !

I refer to: ( Huffington Post )

Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) has been battling the banks the last few weeks in an effort to get 60 votes lined up for bankruptcy reform. He's losing.

On Monday night in an interview with a radio host back home, he came to a stark conclusion: the banks own the Senate.

"And the banks -- hard to believe in a time when we're facing a banking crisis that many of the banks created -- are still the most powerful lobby on Capitol Hill. And they frankly own the place," he said on WJJG 1530 AM's "Mornings with Ray Hanania."

How can the US Senate even let these bank lobbyests in the doors of their office let alone listen to them. Have they not yet caused American's enough grief? Have you not yet handed them enough cash?

If Americans own so much of their stock why don't we, the American Stockholders of those interests demand that zero dollars be spend to lobby congress against the best interests of Americans?

Is our "investment" in these banks worth nothing to us?

Are you one of those who have sold yourself to the big banks?

Are we still to endure "business as ususal" from Congress even after the clear message sent in the November Elections?

I want your specific answers to these questions and what do YOU intend to do about it?

Respectfully, ( signature )
